In 1957, OCS initiated a service catering to the delivery of newspapers for Japanese residents residing abroad. This business model, attuned to the needs of the next generation, underwent a transformation, progressing from the import/export of overseas publications to its current primary focus on the International Express Business.

By March 2009, OCS became an integral part of the All Nippon Airways (ANA) group of companies. Clothing Donation Overseas

Since 2017, in collaboration with ANA Group companies, they annually send unused clothing, bags, shoes, and fashion accessories to developing countries. As of December 2020, 12,987 pieces of clothing have been donated.

Plastic Bottle Cap Donation by OCS

Instead of discarding plastic bottle caps, collect and donate them. Every 1,720 caps contribute to one polio vaccine, helping save children worldwide. As of December 2020, the donation results include 196,493 caps (547 kg), equivalent to 148 vaccines.

OCS Used Stamps Donation

Collecting used stamps has a tangible impact, with each kilogram converted into cash at 1,100 yen, supporting the donation of 60 polio vaccines. As of December 2020, the donation results account for 1,741g, contributing to 9,737 vaccines.

Empty Disposable Contact Lens Cases Donation

Through collaboration with the Eye City eco project, they participate in recycling empty disposable contact lens cases. Collected cases are sent to eyecity (HOYA), and the proceeds from the recycling are donated to the Japan Eye Bank. Until December 2020, the donation record includes 8.35 kg, comprising 8,350 pieces.
